Chinwe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication, both from The University of Nigeria. She directs the Diversity Services Office and has worked with students in New York, Georgia and Ohio, both in academic advising and adjunct teaching. In her "spare" time (whatever that means), she loves to spend time with her husband and four children, read, listen to music and watch back- to- back episodes of Without a Trace and the original Law and Order.

Michael is the Assistant Director of the Diversity Services Office. Prior to this, he was an advisor for the Exploration Program, where he advised both student-athletes and DSO-affiliated students. Originally from New York, he has a B.A. in Anthropology from SUNY College at Buffalo and a M.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Ohio State. In his spare time, Michael likes to watch TV, read, and play video games. Lots of video games.

Jenna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and African-American & African Studies from The Ohio State University. She is Program Coordinator for the Diversity Services Office, where she works with the Program for Advising in Scholarship and Service (PASS). She enjoys traveling and has been to England, France, Ireland, South Africa, Lesotho, Zambia, and Zimbabwe (but not yet to Canada or Mexico – how about that?) In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, dancing, listening to music, and watching The Amazing Race, Lost, Project Runway, America’s Next Top Model, and Top Chef.

Angelett holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She has experience working with students in both clinical and educational settings. This work has ranged from providing services to victims of abuse, to helping new students make a successful transfer into a college setting. Angelett works with minority students in the Exploration Program. In her spare time she likes to read, travel, and spend time outdoors.

Ebony holds a dual Masters Degree in Marketing and Communications from Franklin University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from The Ohio State University. She advises students with Social and Behavioral Sciences majors and serves as a Pre-Law Advisor in The Colleges of the Arts and Sciences. She also contributes to special programming designed for Diversity Services Office. Ebony’s professional background consists of teaching as an adjunct instructor for English as a Second Language students, preparing college students academically at the four year and two year college level, and developing academic programming for a diverse student population. Outside of work, Ebony enjoys: reading a good book, writing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends! She also enjoys volunteering with her church and community. She has a strong commitment to serving students on all different levels to achieve their personal and academic goals, and is very pleased to be back at her Alma Mater…. The Ohio State University. Bio
Born and raised in Romania, I hold two Master degrees in English and in Literary and Cultural Studies. My interests are in minority studies, issues of representation, and socio-ethnic diversity. I enjoy traveling, international music and films, reading, and especially spending time with her family. When I do not travel or do one of the above, which is often, I advise interdisciplinary majors, humanities majors, and work closely and happily with the Diversity Office.

Shelia Francis has been employed by the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences for 20 years. She advises students in the College of Humanities, and specifically works with student-athletes, petitions, and Graduation Services.

Aurelia specializes in advising Honors students in the Humanities, International Studies, and History of Art, as well as students interested in Pre-Law and Pre-education. She has earned a B.A. in English from the University of Ghana, Legon, as well as a M.A. Ed from Washington University, St. Louis and a MLHR from The Ohio State University. In her spare time, Aurelia loves to curl up with a good book.

Bio
Bernice holds a MAT degree in French Education from Indiana University and a BA in English from Spelman College. She is a former college French instructor and has counseled college students for many years. In addition to general advising of ASC sciences and pre-health students, Bernice also serves as a liaison to the ASC Diversity Services Office and to Ohio State’s Professional Schools Recruitment Committee. She is also staff advisor to the Weddington Society of Future Health Care Professionals, an OSU campus-based pre-health club. When not working, Bernice enjoys spending time with family, working with several social services organizations, exercising, reading, and speaking in French.

Brandy is a Career Counselor for the Arts and Sciences Career Services Office. She works primarily with graduating seniors. Brandy serves as liaison between ASC Career Services and the Diversity Services Office. Prior to OSU she worked at Nationwide as a Recruiter for University Relations. Brandy received her B.A., in Psychology from Capital University and her Master of Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business. In her spare time Brandy enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and eating out!!

Carole holds a bachelor degree from Walsh College in Advertising. She
advises students in The College of The Arts and specializes in
students with disabilities and special needs. She has worked and
volunteered with different organizations over the years ranging from
becoming a lay minister for The United Methodist Church to working
with community organizations dealing with abused children, the
disabled and AIDS.
In her spare time she enjoys her photography / photoshop addiction,
traveling with her husband, collecting way too much memorabilia,
living in the country and trying to arrange time with their six grown
children. Her most favorite activity is playing with her 3
grandchildren and her beloved dog, Wilbur.
